NW U is now offering training classes in the incredibly powerful, industry-standard disguise Media Server platform. disguise is at the heart of the largest production and installations across the globe, and has played a key role in global concert tours for artists such as U2, The Rolling Stones, Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, live events including Coachella, theatre productions such as Frozen and Harry Potter, as well as films, eSports, live TV broadcasts, corporate and entertainment events.

The demand for disguise technicians has never been higher, especially as emerging workflows such as xR and virtual production become more of the norm. This is why NW U has partnered with disguise and is able to offer official disguise in-person training courses.

Because the training is supported by and endorsed by disguise, when a student completes training at NW U this will count towards their disguise e-learning path and unlock advanced courses that can be taken online and on-demand.

Nationwide University is offering disguise Basic Fundamentals training, which is the first step and introduction to the disguise platform. This 2 day, instructor-led course will guide the student through the setup and operation of the disguise system, and covers all the necessary material for successful operation.

In addition, Nationwide University is offering the advanced training course “Creative Sequencing”. This course is only available at disguise and at Nationwide University, and covers more advanced programming techniques to ensure that an operator is comfortable and competent programming any style of show.
