Millumin Operator Fundamentals – March 2023

2-day course In this instructor led course, students will learn the setup and operation of Millumin, a professional solution to create audiovisual shows for theaters, dance shows, video mappings, interactive solutions and more. Students will learn to navigate the interface, setup displays, import and manage assets, workspace navigation, managing layers, video mapping, slicing, effects with shaders, timeline transitions, external controls and more through hands-on tutorials.   Macbooks will be provided for use throughout the course, however if preferred students may bring and use their own appropriate Apple machine. Millumin licenses will be provided for use throughout the course, however if preferred students may also bring their own license for use during the course.     Lunch is provided   Instructor: Kevin Ring

Camera Engineering Workshop – March 2023

2-day course In this instructor led course, students will learn the fundamentals and concepts of engineering and color matching professional studio-grade cameras as well as robotic (PTZ) cameras. Topics will include -White and Black Balance -Color matching -Waveform monitor/vectorscope usage -RCP operation -Advanced image controls   This course will utilize Panasonic UC4000 and Sony HXC-100 cameras, and a variety of Sony and Panasonic PTZ cameras. Christie Spyder X80 Certification Course

2 day course In this instructor-led course, students will familiarize themselves with the Christie Spyder hardware platform and the Spyder Studio software Topics covered include: -System hardware -Theory and Configuration overview -Spyder Studio -File Management -Configuration Manager -Multiview Setup -Sources -Routers -Stills -Keyframes -Treatments and Command Keys -Source Elements -Scripting - keyframes and Elements -Function Keys -External Control -Parallel Expansion -3D Stereo Students are required to bring their own computers capable of running the Windows Operation System and the Spyder Studio software. Apple computers can be used if running bootcamp.
