Join us on Friday, October 29th, 2021 for an engaging and informative seminar on virtual production and extended reality, featuring Nationwide’s own National Training Manager, Kevin Ring.  Kevin is joining Geoffrey Platt, founder of “Ahead of the Curve”, a web based show focused on bringing interactive conversations of emerging technologies through social media and virtual environments.

This hour-long presentation will offer insights into this emerging workflow, and will highlight ways that technicians can adapt their skillsets to match the needs of the growing market.

Virtual production and extended reality (XR) events are changing the landscapes of how events are created. They open areas of creativity that have not been achievable in the past. Virtual events are also changing the ways we engage with each other and new mediums of how we communicate. The members of this panel are all veterans within the live entertainment industry. Stories and experiences will be shared about previous productions and events all created for the virtual production and extended reality industry. Images and video clips will be used to illustrate workflows and content creation. As virtual production and extended reality workflows are changing, audience members will have better knowledge of what goes into producing events and the technology used for this exciting new branch in the live events and broadcast world.
