InfoComm Video Engineering Nerd Central with Nationwide University’s Kevin Ring!

Nationwide Video will be exhibiting at InfoComm 2023 in Orlando, Florida June 13th-16th. Nationwide plans to continue their tradition of displaying the latest professional AV technology available for rent, purchase as well as other service offerings available from Nationwide. Nationwide will also be hosting off-site events and entertainment.

To further Nationwide’s commitment to education, National Training Manager Kevin Ring will be presenting at InfoComm 23.  This Educational Session is part of the Content Production, Stream and Live Events categories titled “Video Engineering Nerd Central”.

This session is available to all attendees with an InfoComm Education Pass, and attendees will be able to receive CTS RU Renewal Units.

This presentation will dive into all aspects of video engineering for the live event technician and explain every-day industry terminology while applying context in an easily digestible manner. Kevin is a natural at delivering information in a very palatable and memorable way and is also very warm and welcoming to discourse with a “no stupid questions” approach to teaching.

Topics will include: Color Spaces, bit-depth, chroma sub-sampling, signal types and more.

Attendees are guaranteed to get a very technologically sound presentation and if you’re lucky, you’ll also be on the receiving end of a witty quip from Kevin’s bottomless bag of terrible jokes.

If you have never crossed paths with Kevin, you’re in for a treat. He has a ridiculously infectious positive outlook and the amount of enthusiasm and curiosity he brings to his teaching makes it feel like learning doesn’t have to be a chore.
