3 day course   In this instructor led course, students will learn basic and advanced techniques for video projection including converging, blending, warping, mapping, networking, and more.   This class will utilize Panasonic Connect projectors. Each student will use a pair of RZ12ks and RQ25ks for double-stacking and edge-blending.   Topics will include: lens calculation, power consumption, signal types, triangulation theory, networking principles, and more. Geometry Manager Pro and the Panasonic Connect Web GUI will be utilized.   Students are required to provide their own Windows laptop capable of running Windows 10 or 11. Mac OSX computers may be used, however software such as Parallels or Bootcamp may be required to fully utilize each piece of software.   Lunch will be provided   Instructor: Kevin Ring

InfiLED Certified Engineer – October 2023

3-day LED Training Course In this instructor led course, students engage in classroom theory and hands-on activities in order to further enhance their understanding of the INFiLED product line of LED displays and LED processing. Upon successful completion the attendee will be awarded the title of INFiLED Certified Engineer. This course will cover basic and advanced workflows with NovaStar LED processors, with topics including: RCFG management, sending cards, receiving cards, screen mapping, redundancy, seam-adjustments, port capacity, power calculations, troubleshooting and advanced settings. INFiLED Certified Engineer Workshop is open to both beginners as well as technicians with working experience with LED displays and processing. Students are asked to bring their own Windows-capable laptop for use and configuration during class. Apple OS X may be used if running Bootcamp. Parallels is not fully supported by Novastar and is not recommended. An external USB mouse is highly encouraged. Lunch is provided   Instructor: Kevin Ring

Millumin Operator Fundamentals – November 2023

2-day course In this instructor led course, students will learn the setup and operation of Millumin, a professional solution to create audiovisual shows for theaters, dance shows, video mappings, interactive solutions and more. Students will learn to navigate the interface, setup displays, import and manage assets, workspace navigation, managing layers, video mapping, slicing, effects with shaders, timeline transitions, external controls and more through hands-on tutorials. Macbooks will be provided for use throughout the course, however if preferred students may bring and use their own appropriate Apple machine. Millumin licenses will be provided for use throughout the course, however if preferred students may also bring their own license for use during the course. Lunch is provided Instructor: Kevin Ring
